A little bit about me and my work…
We were all born creative, some of us just forget that along the way.
For as long as I can remember I’ve had a desire to create. I have a distinct curiosity about everything I come in contact with.
As an artist, I draw inspiration from the world around me, and pop culture has a prominent influence in my work. From the music we listen to, to the trends that permeate our digital landscape, pop culture has a way of reflecting the spirit of our society.
In my art, I strive to capture the energy and excitement of pop culture, while also exploring its deeper themes and messages. Whether I'm creating a portrait of an iconic figure, or using symbolic imagery from a particular time or place, I aim to engage viewers on multiple levels.
At the same time, I'm aware that pop culture can be a double-edged sword, with the potential to both uplift and exploit. As such, I try to approach my subjects with a critical eye, questioning the power dynamics and representation at play. By doing so, I hope to challenge and expand the boundaries of what pop culture can mean and represent in our ever-evolving world.
